Tulane Medical Center Names Dr. William Lunn CEO

William Lunn, MD, will serve as CEO of New Orleans-based Tulane Medical Center beginning Aug. 11.

Dr. Lunn will oversee the 354-bed Tulane Medical Center and 119-bed Tulane-Lakeside, in addition to 25 clinics.

Dr. Lunn was formerly COO of Christus Health-Northern Louisiana in Shreveport. He has been there since 2009, where he oversaw the three acute care center hospitals with a total of 350 beds, an inpatient hospice, a long term acute care hospital and two wellness centers.  He has also served as assistant dean of clinical affairs and director of interventional pulmonology as a clinician and educator at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston.
