Tulane Health System taps Ruth Kain as CNO

Tulane Health System in New Orleans appointed Ruth Kain chief nursing officer, effective Sept. 30.

Ms. Kain most recently served as vice president and associate chief nurse executive at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. She was previously CNO at two IU Health facilities.

She has more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, and in 2018, she was recognized by the Indiana University Kokomo School of Nursing with its Nurse of Distinction Award.
