Tripp Owings named COO of Wesley Medical Center’s new children’s hospital

Wesley Medical Center in Wichita, Kan., part of Nashville, Tenn.-based Hospital Corporation of America, has named Tripp Owings COO of its planned children’s hospital.

In this role, Mr. Owings will oversee the building and operation of the $28 million children’s hospital.

Most recently, Mr. Owings served as vice president of pediatric operations of Wesley Medical Center. He began his career with HCA as a financial analyst in the company’s southeast division, then moved to director of operations in HCA’s North Florida division.
