Dr. Imran Andrabi promoted to Mercy Health-Toledo CEO

Cincinnati-based Mercy Health has promoted Imran Andrabi, MD, to the newly created position of president and CEO/chief network integration officer of Mercy Health-Toledo (Ohio), according to the Toledo Free Press.

In his newly appointed role, Dr. Andrabi will be responsible for the operations and growth across the Mercy Health network, including seven hospitals, nearly 130 ambulatory sites and a 480-physician member clinically integrated network. Mercy Health-Toledo serves residents of 20 counties in Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan.

Additionally, Dr. Andrabi was recently named chairman of the board for Mercy Health Physicians, which represents more than 1,300 employed physicians and providers in Ohio and Kentucky.

Previously, Dr. Andrabi served as president and COO/chief network integration officer for Mercy Health, a position he has held since October 2013.
