Mr. Boyd will assume his role Jan. 6, succeeding James Woodward, president and CEO of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, and Doug Strong, interim CEO of Holy Cross Health, according to a news release. Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic and Holy Cross Health are part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health.
Mr. Boyd joins Trinity Health after serving as COO of The Christ Hospital Health Network in Cincinnati. He also previously served as executive vice president and COO of New Hanover Regional Medical Center in Wilmington, N.C., an affiliate of Winston-Salem, N.C.-based Novant Health.
