Matthew Eggert, DPT, was named vice president of ambulatory operations for Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola Medicine, according to a news release shared with Becker’s.
Mr. Eggert brings nearly two decades of experience at Loyola Medicine, most recently serving as executive director overseeing the system’s musculoskeletal, neurosciences and behavioral health programs, according to the release. He began his career at Loyola as a physical therapist before advancing through roles as clinical coordinator, practice director and executive director.
“His experience, dedication and focus on operational excellence will be instrumental as we continue to improve the patient experience and support our clinicians and staff in delivering exceptional care,” Shannon Cermak, COO of Loyola Medical Group, said in the release.
Loyola Medicine, part of Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health, is a three-hospital academic system that includes Loyola University Medical Center, Gottlieb Memorial Hospital and MacNeal Hospital, with nearly 2,000 physicians across Cook, Will and DuPage counties.
