Trinity Health selects Sheri Shapiro as chief strategy officer

Livonia, Mich.-based Trinity Health has appointed Sheri Shapiro senior vice president and chief strategy officer.

Ms. Shapiro assumed her new role Oct. 16, before which she was the health system’s senior vice president for mergers, acquisitions and partnerships. She has worked at Trinity Health since 2016. Before then, she was a principal with the Chartis Group, a healthcare consultancy.

She holds an MBA in healthcare management from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
