Trinity Health Of New England taps Chad Wable as COO: 4 takeaways

Hartford, Conn.-based Trinity Health Of New England appointed Chad Wable senior vice president and COO, effective Jan. 1, 2018, according to a Hartford Business report.

1. Mr. Wable currently serves as president and CEO at St. Mary’s Hospital in Waterbury, Conn.

2. He has held his current role since 2008, and during his tenure, the hospital became a Trinity Health Of New England member.

3. In his new role, Mr. Wable will oversee hospital operations in Hartford, Waterbury and Springfield, Conn., in addition to IT and regional operations.

4. Steven E. Schneider, MD, St. Mary’s Hospital’s CMO, will succeed Mr. Wable as president and CEO.
