A spokesperson told the Flathead Beacon that Ms. Fisher’s resignation was a personal decision. Kalispell Regional Healthcare, the hospital’s parent, also thanked her for her contributions. Ms. Fisher served as chief nursing officer of Kalispell Regional Healthcare before helping launch Montana Children’s, which opened July 1, and becoming its executive leader.
“[Ms. Fisher] made certain that with all of the complexities that went into that effort that no steps were missed, and we all enjoyed a very successful kickoff for Montana Children’s,” a statement obtained by the Flathead Beacon reads.
Jason Spring, Kalispell Regional Healthcare’s chief strategic officer, will take over as leader of Montana Children’s.
