1. Most recently, Mr. Novak served as the head of human resources for global assets at Biogen, a biotechnology company.
2. Prior to that, he worked at numerous organizations, such as Citigroup and PepsiCo, in leadership positions.
3. In his new role, which including the functions of the former chief human resources officer, Mr. Novak oversee human resources efforts as well as cultural integration of the system, leadership team development and talent management strategies.
4. The University of Vermont Health Network is a six-hospital system serving both Vermont and New York.
