The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio’s new CEO is Cris Daskevich

Irving, Texas-based Christus Health named Cris Daskevich CEO of The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. She will also serve as senior vice president of maternal services for the health system in the U.S. and Latin America.

Ms. Daskevich will assume her new roles Feb. 19. She currently serves as senior vice president at Texas Children’s Hospital in Houston. She has also served on state and national committees and boards for professional societies, including the Texas Hospital Association and Children’s Hospital Association.

Ms. Daskevich is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and senior fellow of the American Leadership Forum. She holds a master of healthcare administration degree and MBA from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.

Ms. Daskevich joins Charles Hankins, MD, who is serving as president and CMO at The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio. They will be a part of a dyad leadership model.
