After more than 20 years with Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare, nursing leader Sharleen Betancourt, BSN, RN, is joining Methodist Hospital Texsan in San Antonio as its chief nursing officer.
Ms. Betancourt most recently served as assistant chief nursing officer at HCA’s Las Palmas Medical Center in El Paso, Texas, according to a Jan. 30 news release shared with Becker’s. She began her healthcare career as a patient care technician and later served in nursing leadership roles.
Methodist Hospital Texsan is part of Methodist Healthcare, a 12-hospital system based in San Antonio.
