Most recently, Mr. Tinney served as chief operating officer of Bessemer, Ala.-based UAB Medical West, which includes a 310-bed hospital, 17 clinics, a freestanding emergency department, an imaging center and an ambulatory surgery center, according to a Dec. 20 news release. In 2015, he was recognized as one of Becker’s Hospital Review’s “25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40.”
