Texas hospital CEO resigns

Brian Roland, CEO of Stephens Memorial Hospital in Breckenridge, Texas, has resigned to take on a new role.

Mr. Roland has accepted the position of CEO of Miners Colfax Medical Center in Raton, N.M., he confirmed to Becker’s on Nov. 20.

He notified the board of his resignation Oct. 29 and will remain at Stephens Memorial Hospital until an interim CEO is appointed, Mr. Roland said.

Mr. Roland has served as CEO of Stephens Memorial Hospital since 2021. Before that, he was CEO of Muenster (Texas) Memorial Hospital for five years.
