Houston-based The Women’s Hospital of Texas named Denise Sutler, MD, chief medical officer.
Dr. Sutler, an OB-GYN, stepped into the role May 4, according to a May 5 hospital news release. She has been a member of the hospital medical staff since 2019 and has served in multiple committee leadership roles focused on patient safety, quality and women-first care.
“Dr. Sutler is a trusted physician leader who understands our patients, our physicians and our mission,” Jeanna Bamburg, CEO of the hospital, said in the release. “As we celebrate our 50th anniversary, her commitment to patient safety and clinical excellence will help us continue advancing women-first care for families across our community.”
The Women’s Hospital of Texas is part of HCA Houston Healthcare.
