Terry Gunn selected market CEO of 2 South Carolina facilities

Terry Gunn became market CEO of Providence Health in Columbia, S.C., and KershawHealth in Camden, S.C., effective Aug. 13.

Mr. Gunn has served as interim leader of Providence Health since April. In his new role, he will be tasked with finding growth opportunities for the market as a whole and improving care delivery in the region. Both Providence Health and KershawHealth are a part of Brentwood, Tenn.-based LifePoint Health.

Mr. Gunn was CEO of KershawHealth and president of the South Carolina market for Brentwood-based RCCH HealthCare Partners, before its merger with LifePoint Health. He has also worked in hospital leadership roles within Nashville, Tenn.-based HCA Healthcare.

He is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives and holds a master of healthcare administration degree from Washington University in St. Louis.
