Tuscaloosa, Ala.-based DCH Health System named Dennis Fisher as its new chief human resources officer.
Mr. Fisher most recently served as CHRO at Columbia, Tenn.-based Maury Regional Health, a three-hospital system with roughly 3,100 employees, according to an Aug. 17 DCH news release. He stepped into that role in June 2021, according to his LinkedIn profile.
He has more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience in the healthcare industry, with a focus on employee engagement and retention, leadership development, performance management and workforce strategy.
Mr. Fisher’s healthcare career also includes leadership roles with Gainesville-based Northeast Georgia Health System and Marietta, Ga.-based Wellstar Health System.
