Tampa General Hospital names senior VP, chief nursing officer

Wendi Goodson-Celerin, DNP, APRN, has been selected to serve as senior vice president and chief nursing officer at Tampa (Fla.) General Hospital.

Dr. Goodson-Celerin brings 35 years of experience in advanced nursing, leadership, patient care and advocacy to the role, where she will focus on expanding cross-functional collaboration among the 1,040-bed hospital’s nursing teams. She joined Tampa General in 1988 as a clinical nurse and has served in a number of nurse leadership positions since. 

Most recently, Dr. Goodson-Celerin was the interim CNO.
