Tamara Miller. CEO of Madison (S.D.) Community Hospital. Ms. Miller started out at Madison Community Hospital as an administrative assistant. She left in 1994 to accept the CEO position at Dells Area Hospital in Dells Rapids, S.D. — a job she held for two years — before returning to Madison in 1996 to serve as the CEO. This South Dakota native is a fellow in the American College of Healthcare Executives and serves on numerous professional and community board and councils. Ms. Miller — a wife and mother of three boys — enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, reading, hiking and shopping.
