Swedish Health Services names Dr. Jack Cox CMO

Seattle-based Swedish Health Services selected Jack Cox, MD, to serve as CMO.

Dr. Cox most recently served as senior vice president and chief quality officer for Renton, Wash.-based Providence St. Joseph Health, Swedish’s parent. He previously served as CMO for St. Joseph Health and chief quality officer for Newport Beach, Calif.-based Hoag Health Network.

Dr. Cox has served with the U.S. Air Force, published 45-plus articles and book chapters and authored four books. He is also a board member at Covenant Health System in Lubbock, Texas.

Dr. Cox succeeds Charles Watts, MD, who retired.
