Bryan Kleibscheidel has exited his role as vice president of finance for Akron, Ohio-based Summa Health, according to a Jan. 13 LinkedIn post.

“After much consideration, I’ve officially concluded my time as Vice President of Finance at Summa Health,” Mr. Kleibscheidel said in the post. “I’m grateful for the relationships, experiences and the privilege of serving alongside an incredible team.”

Mr. Kleibscheidel served in the role for two and a half years, according to his LinkedIn page.

The news comes after Cliff Deveny, MD, president and CEO of Summa Health, stepped down and became CEO emeritus and a strategic adviser Jan. 1.

On Oct. 1, 2025, Summa Health finalized a $485 million deal to join General Catalyst’s Health Assurance Transformation Co., which transitioned Summa into a for-profit, taxable health system.
