Summa Health System Names Dr. Thomas Malone President of 2 Hospitals

Summa Health System in Akron, Ohio, has named Thomas Malone, MD, president of Summa Akron City and St. Thomas hospitals, both located in Akron, according to a Record-Courier report.

Dr. Malone succeeds Bob Harrigan, who will retire from Summa Tuesday. Previously, Dr. Malone was president and CEO of Detroit Medical Center Harper University Hospital and Hutzel Women’s Hospital.
