Stormont Vail Health names chief compliance officer

Stormont Vail Health in Topeka, Kan., tapped Kevin Steck to serve as senior vice president, general counsel and chief compliance officer, according to the Topeka Capital-Journal.

Mr. Steck comes to Stormont Vail Health from St. John Health System in Tulsa, Okla., where he served as vice president of corporate compliance and integrity.

He has 20-plus years of experience working with the FBI, where he worked his way up to chief division counsel and then director of Heart of America Regional Computer Forensics Laboratory.

Mr. Steck holds a juris doctor degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law.
