Steward Health Care selects president of Utah region: 5 things to know

Dallas-based Steward Health Care appointed Brian Dunn regional president of Utah, overseeing five hospitals.

Five things to know:

1. Mr. Dunn most recently served as an operating partner at The Riverside Company, a private equity firm.

2. He was previously CEO of Success Health in Columbia, Mo.

3. He has also served as president and CEO of Salt Lake Regional Medical Center in Salt Lake City.

4. Mr. Dunn holds a master of health administration degree from Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.

5. He succeeds Michael Jensen, who was interim regional president. Mr. Jensen will continue to serve as president of Davis Hospital & Medical Center in Layton, Utah, part of Steward’s Utah region.
