Star Medical Center names CNO: 3 things to know

Star Medical Center, a surgical hospital in Plano, Texas, has named Amy Binkley CNO.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Binkley.

1. Prior to her new role, Ms. Binkley served as Star Medical Center’s acute care director, where she was responsible for the inpatient unit and emergency room, as well as employee health and employee education.

2. Ms. Binkley’s career prior to Star Medical Center included medical/surgical nursing, recovery room nursing and emergency medicine.

3. Ms. Binkley is currently pursuing a master’s degree in nursing.
