St. Vincent Anderson CMO to depart: 5 takeaways

St. Vincent Anderson (Ind.) CMO Jeff Mathison, MD, is leaving the role for a new opportunity, according to a Herald Bulletin report.

1. Dr. Mathison is departing for St. Vincent’s Health System in Jacksonville, Fla., where he will serve as system CMO.

2. He served as CMO at St. Vincent Anderson since June 2016.

3. He joined St. Vincent Anderson as a medical resident in 1990, when it was known as Saint John’s Health System.

4. He also started his own family medicine practice in 1992.

5. Both St. Vincent Anderson and St. Vincent’s Health System are members of St. Louis-based Ascension.
