St. Mary’s president to retire

Steven Jorgensen, president of Lewiston, Maine-based St. Mary’s Health System and senior vice president for Tewsbury, Mass.-based Covenant Health, will retire on Dec. 31.

Mr. Jorgensen will support St. Mary’s and Covenant Health as senior vice president in an advisory and consulting capacity through year’s end, according to a news release.

Mr. Jorgensen joined St. Mary’s in August 2018. Before that, he held roles at Duluth, Minn.-based Essentia Health.

Cindy Segar-Miller, RN, was named interim president of St. Mary’s, effective Sept. 1, according to the release.
