St. Mary’s Medical Center taps Bryan Johnson as president

St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo., has appointed Bryan Johnson president, according to the Business Times.

Mr. Johnson assumed the role permanently Aug. 9, after serving as interim president for two months. He replaced Brian Davidson, MD, who resigned in June.

Prior to becoming interim president, Mr. Johnson was COO of the hospital. He previously worked at Salt Lake City-based Intermountain Healthcare and was CEO of the Orthopedic Specialty Hospital in Salt Lake City and Alta View Hospital in Sandy, Utah.

He earned a master’s of health administration degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine in Richmond.
