St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center CEO to resign: 3 things to know

Pueblo, Colo.-based St. Mary-Corwin Medical Center CEO Brian Moore is resigning, effective Nov. 10, according to a KRDO News Channel 13 report.

Here are three things to know:

1. Mr. Moore “plans to explore opportunities that allow him to translate more than 18 years of acute care knowledge and skills into a role that focuses on his passion for health care innovation,” according to a press release obtained by KRDO.

2. He served as St. Mary-Corwin’s CEO since 2013.

3. Centennial, Colo.-based Centura Health, the hospital’s parent, is developing a plan for interim leadership and named Mike Cafasso interim administrator.
