Renton, Wash.-based Providence Health & Services appointed Tomi Ryba chief executive for its Southern Oregon Service Area, effective Dec. 4.
Here are three things to know:
1. Ms. Ryba currently serves as president and CEO of El Camino Hospital in Mountain View, Calif.
2. Her previous roles include serving as COO at both Seattle-based Harborview Medical Center and UCSF Medical Center as well as president of St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, Calif.
3. She has served on the boards of Indianapolis-based Anthem Blue Cross, Hospital Council of Northern and Central California and California Hospital Association.
