Here are three notes:
1. Ms. Cusack-McGuirk has been with St. Luke’s Cornwall Hospital for more than 20 years, most recently serving as interim president and CEO in June 2015.
2. Prior to leading the hospital on an interim basis, Ms. Cusack-McGuirk was senior vice president and CNO. The hospital established its first nurse residency program during her time as CNO.
3. As interim CEO, she was instrumental in finalizing the partnership between SLCH and New York City-based Montefiore Health System, which was announced earlier this year.
