St. Luke’s Boise (Idaho) Medical Center appointed Barbara Hocking its permanent chief nursing officer, according to an Idaho Business Review report.

1. Ms. Hocking became interim CNO in February.

2. She previously served as interim vice president of patient care services and CNO at Methodist University Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.

3. She is equipped with 30 years of healthcare experience.

4. Ms. Hocking also founded a consulting firm focused on perioperative and acute care nursing operations.
