1. Mr. O’Donovan most recently served as director of ambulatory administration and practice management at UR Medicine’s Strong Memorial Hospital and medical faculty groups, based in Rochester.
2. He previously worked as director of UR Medicine’s Strong West facility in Brockport, N.Y.
3. He is a military veteran and worked at the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
4. Mr. O’Donovan replaces Leo Brideau, who stepped in as interim president and CEO.
5. St. James Hospital, which affiliated with UR Medicine in March, also changed its name from St. James Mercy Hospital.
