St. Barnabas Hospital names Dr. David Perlstein executive vice president

St. Barnabas Hospital in the Bronx, N.Y., has named its CMO, David A. Perlstein, MD, executive vice president, according to Bronx Times.

Dr. Perlstein joined St. Barnabas Hospital in 1999 as director of ambulatory pediatrics and vice chairman. He was named CMO last year.

In addition to his CMO duties, Dr. Perlstein is a faculty member at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, a member of the AHA Committee on Clinical Leadership and serves as an abstract reviewer for the Pediatric Academic Society’s annual meeting, according to the report.
