Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center names permanent CEO: 4 things to know

Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center in Fredericksburg, Va., dropped ‘interim’ from CEO David McKnight’s title.

Here are four things to know:

1. Mr. McKnight became interim CEO of the hospital in January.

2. He previously served as Spotsylvania Regional’s CFO.

3. He has worked at Richmond-based HCA Virginia, Spotsylvania Regional’s parent, since 2010.

4. Mr. McKnight holds a MBA degree from Radford (Va.) University.
