Sparrow names new controller

Sparrow, a health system based in Lansing, Mich., has appointed Kevin Essenmacher controller.

Mr. Essenmacher, a certified public accountant, has more than 14 years experience in healthcare finance, including eight years as controller of Sparrow’s Physicians Health Plan.

Mr. Essenmacher has a bachelor’s degree in accounting information systems from Central Michigan University.
