Ms. McCarty has served Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health System for 17 years, according to a news release shared with Becker’s. Prior to becoming interim president of Sparrow Clinton Hospital in June, she held various leadership roles within the system — including vice president of patient experience for the organization; director of rehabilitation services; and director of Grand Rapids, Mich.-based Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital.
During her interim presidency, Ms. McCarty oversaw an increase in patient volumes and surgical services. Additionally, she helped the hospital form community partnerships.
