Sparrow Health System appoints James Dover CEO: 3 things to know

Lansing, Mich.-based Sparrow Health System has named James F. Dover president and CEO, effective June 17.

Three things to know:

1. Mr. Dover most recently served as president and CEO of Springfield, Ill.-based Hospital Sisters Health System’s Southern Illinois division, which includes five hospitals.

2. He has 36 years of healthcare leadership experience, including as regional CEO of the Daughters of Charity Health System in Los Altos, Calif., and president and CEO of Lourdes Health Network in Pasco, Wash.

3. He succeeds E.W. Tibbs Jr., who left the organization in March after sexual misconduct claims.
