Southwestern Medical Center names CEO: 3 takeaways

Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, Okla., has appointed Elizabeth Jones CEO, effective May 6.

1. Ms. Jones most recently served as COO and interim CEO at Lake Cumberland Regional Hospital in Somerset, Ky.

2. She was vice president of operations for CHI St. Luke’s Health-Baylor St. Luke’s Medical Center in Houston and senior director of perioperative services and neuroscience service line at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, also in Houston.

3. A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, she is a registered nurse with an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.
