Southwestern Medical Center in Lawton, Okla., has appointed Elizabeth Jones CEO, effective May 6.
Three takeaways:

2. She was vice president of operations for CHI St. Luke's Health-Baylor St. Luke's Medical Center in Houston and senior director of perioperative services and neuroscience service line at Memorial Hermann Healthcare System, also in Houston.
3. A member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, she is a registered nurse with an MBA from DePaul University in Chicago.
