Mr. Rua has served as a member of the board of trustees of the Southcoast Health System and Southcoast Hospitals Group since 2012. He currently serves as president and CEO of Rua-Dumont-Audet Insurance. He is also a member of the boards of several healthcare and professional organizations. Additionally, Mr. Rua serves on the advisory council for Berkshire Hathaway/Guard Insurance Group Producer, Bristol Community College Capital Campaign and the Southcoast Health Capital Campaign.
Mr. Rua succeeds outgoing Southcoast Health System Board Chair Dr. Jean MacCormack. Dr. MacCormack will remain a trustee.
