Ms. Whelton joined South Shore Hospital in 1997 as a financial analyst. She has also served as the hospital’s chief administrative and financial officer in her 20-plus years of service at the hospital.
South Shore Health President and CEO Gene E. Green, MD, will become president of South Shore Hospital, effective immediately.
