South Nassau Communities Hospital in Oceanside, N.Y., tapped Stacey A. Conklin to serve as senior vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer.

1. Ms. Conklin comes to South Nassau from New York City-based Mount Sinai Health System’s New York Eye & Ear Infirmary, where he served as vice president of patient care services and CNO.

2. She has also served as director of patient care services at New York City-based Mount Sinai Beth Israel and site CIO at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, N.Y.

3. She is a member of the American Nurses Association and a fellow of The New York Academy of Medicine.

4. Ms. Conklin succeeds Susan Penque, PhD, who left after a seven-year tenure.
