2. His previous roles include vice president of operations with Advanced Physician Solutions in Florence, Ala., and director of operations at ABQ Health Partners in Albuquerque, N.M.
3. He also served as a medic in the Air Force for six years.
4. He succeeds Ken Archer, who resigned last year.
