Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital taps chief executive nurse officer

Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital in Grass Valley, Calif., named Monica Biley, BSN, RN, vice president and chief executive nurse officer, according to The Union.

Ms. Biley comes to Sierra Nevada from Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Permanente, where she has worked for the last 15 years. While there she served in several leadership roles including as an executive administrator. She began her career 18 years ago as a bedside nurse at Marysville, Calif.-based Rideout Hospital.

In addition to her nursing degree, she holds a master of public administration degree from California State University, Dominguez Hills in Carson.
