Sharon Hospital interim executive named CEO: 3 things to know

Peter Cordeau, BSN, RN, interim CEO of Sharon (Conn.) Hospital, has been named to the permanent CEO position, according to a Republican-American report.

Here are three things to know about Mr. Cordeau.

1. The hospital’s corporate parent, Brentwood, Tenn.-based for-profit RegionalCare Hospital Partners, appointed Mr. Cordeau interim CEO last November. He replaced Kimberly Lumia.

2. Mr. Cordeau previously served as the hospital’s CNO and COO.

3. He earned a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Hartford in West Hartford, Conn., and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Connecticut, based in Storrs.
