Presence Health appoints chief operations and academic officer: 4 things to know

Chicago-based Presence Health has appointed Ann Errichetti, MD, chief operations and academic officer, according to a news release.

Here are four things to know about Dr. Errichetti.

1. In her role, she will be responsible for leading the system’s acute care strategy, growth and operations for Presence Health and its 11 hospitals. She will also have leadership responsibility for Presence Health’s Resurrection University and graduate medical education program.

2. Dr. Errichetti is a board-certified cardiologist with almost three decades of experience in leadership positions in hospital and medical administration. 

3. Most recently, she was CEO of St. Peter’s Hospital and Albany Memorial Hospital, both in Albany, N.Y., as well as vice president of the Trinity Health Albany regional network. 

4. Dr. Errichetti graduated from Fordham University in Bronx, N.Y., and received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston. She also received a master’s degree in business administration from Clark University in Worcester, Mass.
