Seton Medical Center names Mark Brown permanent chief nursing officer: 4 points

Seton Medical Center in Daly City, Calif., dropped the ‘interim’ from the title of Chief Nursing Officer Mark Brown, BSN, MSN.

1. Mr. Brown has served as Seton’s interim CNO since March 2017.

2. Prior to that, he was administrative director of emergency and specialty services at the medical center.

3. He formerly worked as chief clinical officer at Kindred Hospital in San Leandro, Calif.

4. Mr. Brown is also a U.S. Army veteran of more than 10 years.
