SCL Health appoints two new executives

Denver, Colo.-based SCL Health has announced the appointment of Michael L. Taylor as system executive vice president and COO of hospital operations, effective Jan. 5, 2015, and David Pringle as senior vice president of mission integration, effective Jan. 12, 2015.

Mr. Taylor, whose career spans more than 30 years, joins SCL Health from McLaren Health Care in Flint, Mich., where he served as executive vice president and COO. Prior to that appointment, Mr. Taylor served in system-level senior leadership roles at San Francisco-based Dignity Health and Baylor Healthcare System in Dallas.

Mr. Pringle has more than 14 years of mission integration experience across many multi-hospital systems. Most recently, he served as vice president of mission integration at Austin-based Seton Healthcare Family.

The two executive positions were vacated earlier this year due to retirements.
