McLaren Oakland names Chad Grant CEO

Chad M. Grant has been appointed president and CEO of McLaren Oakland in Pontiac, Mich., a subsidiary of Flint, Mich.-based McLaren Health Care. His new role will take effect today.

Mr. Grant began his career in healthcare in 1995 at Detroit Medical Center. Most, recently, he served as COO at Children’s Hospital of Michigan in Detroit. Prior to that, he was vice president for several service areas at DMC, including the cardiovascular institute, cardiovascular services, professional services and imaging services. He was also an administrative director of ancillary services, including radiology, respiratory therapy, neurology, electroneurodiagnostics and a pediatric sleep disorders laboratory. Earlier in his career, Mr. Grant worked as a technologist in PET, MRI and nuclear medicine. 

Mr. Grant succeeds Clarence Sevillian, who was recently promoted to president and CEO of McLaren Bay Region.
