Schuylkill Health CEO John Simodejka resigns

Pottsville, Pa.-based Schuylkill Health President and CEO John E. Simodejka resigned from his post, according to a Republican Herald report.

“This decision was a very difficult one to make,” Mr. Simodejka said, according to the report. “It took a lot of careful thought and consideration. The time is right for me to move on.”

Mr. Simodejka previously served as president and CEO of The Pottsville Hospital and Warne Clinic for until the affiliation of The Pottsville Hospital and Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center in 2008, which formed Schuylkill Health, according to the report.
